I’m disappointed in myself for not quadruple checking my order, because it was an expensive purchase for an elementary school dance. The name of the dress has the words “light blue.” I had been searching for a light blue dress all over the internet and when I came across this, I immediately knew this was her dress.
The selection was unfortunately already made since I chose dresses in stock. And I did not notice there were other options, since it’s normal for websites to post the same dress in numerous colors. I assumed I had landed on the light blue.
The dress is well made, but my daughter was sad to “feel like a bride” with the ivory color already selected.
At the end of the day it was my fault.
I emailed the company suggesting that they keep color specific named dresses, when the costumer has various dresses to choose from. The website seems to be constructed fine otherwise. But these are expensive dresses shipping outside of Canada. It is a hassle to return or exchange.
I have not heard back but I hope they take the suggestion.

I’ve just received my daughter’s Communion dress and I’m absolutely thrilled with it. We chose the Clarissa dress and it’s even more beautiful in person. I first came across this dress two years ago and instantly knew it would be the perfect one for my daughter.
As I’m based in Ireland, I contacted Mia Bambina Boutique to see if the dress could be shipped to my sister in California, who then brought it home to me. Their response was immediate, the dress was shipped within an hour of ordering, and it arrived to my sister within a few days, with plenty of time to spare.
I can’t wait to see my daughter wear it for her Communion in May. The dress is truly stunning. I would absolutely buy from here again and highly recommend Mia Bambina Boutique.
